SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
You’ll be part of the Portworx control plane team in the Bellevue office. The team aims to deliver two functionalities.
The first will be a seamless Cloud Native experience for all of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s industry-leading products (//FlashArray, //FlashBlade and //CloudBlockStore) while creating the industry’s most complete Kubernetes Data Services Platform for cloud native applications. The team is responsible for delivering the highest quality Portworx Suite of products. You will be contributing to cleanest code, being customer oriented and putting quality first.
Secondly, Portworx is currently working on a SaaS offering that will allow customers to manage storage across multiple kubernetes clusters on a portal in the cloud. Crucial pieces to the success of this platform are 1 touch install workflows, extensive performance monitoring and alerting and diags collection. The team owns the PX operator which is responsible for the majority of the intelligence in the installation of the storage product, the configuration of all the monitoring pieces and figuring out how to get all this information to the Control plane in the cloud. You would be working tightly with the core product team, the Operator team and the UI/UX teams that are going to be building the next version of the best storage platform on Kubernetes.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
Work with state-of-art cloud native technologies and methodologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, etc) to help push Pure and Portworx initiatives to the next level
Own and drive features from design to release workflow
Build-up and scale out of complex system tests and test ecosystems using virtualized environments and various test tools.
Work with cross-functional teams at Pure to build integrated solutions for persistent storage, data protection, multiple cloyd data migrations, and capacity management on Kubernetes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Experience using Java, Go or related programming languages (
Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment;
Experience in any number of related systems software projects e.g: Distributed systems, Operating systems, Linux Kernel, Database internals, Hypervisors, Containers, Compiler Optimization, etc.;
A BS degree in Computer Science; advanced degrees are a bonus!
Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
