Our client now requires a BIM Manager to join the architectural project team in their London Office. This role will require a competent BIM Manager to support projects in their interactions of BIM delivery with client, design and construction teams.
This role will include liaising with external parties, architectural teams and other support departments as well as provide knowledge transfer to new and existing staff. The successful BIM Manager may also support projects in advising and mitigate risk around client and contractor BIM requirements.
Key responsibilities will include working closely with the Project Architect and BIM Coordinator to ensure the project is running smoothly, hosting BIM meetings, develop pre-construction BIM plans based on client requirements, review and approve the DRM, review appointments and information protocol, support BID and early stage client liaison for BIM aspirations as well as determine technology workflows into delivery using BIM authoring tools and required skills / training to get the architectural team up and running
The BIM Manager will require an understanding of the architectural process and technical requirements and be up to date with ISO standards and their application in Architecture. This role requires an individual who has experience a minimum of 2 years professional experience as a BIM Manager in an Architectural practice as well as have proven experience of leading digital coordination workshops on a project and experience in sharing software and process knowledge.
