Job Summary

Responsible for directing all National Construction activities in support of new plant construction. Works with Division Construction Management to provide direction and guidance necessary to develop budgets for and allocate appropriate funds for new builds, rebuilds, upgrades and other construction efforts. Responsible for Construction, Fiber Construction, Planned and Emergency Restoration, Utility Relations and Project Management.

About the Team:

The Planning Design Construction's Construction Operations team is made up of passionate individuals focusing on the core services of aerial and underground telecom construction.

We are the company resource for all construction related guidance on process, procedure, standards, quality and cost effective construction methods.

Core Responsibilities:


Achieve Network Expansion Targets - ensure alignment, consistency and accuracy in reporting and measuring of new build and commercial budget, forecast and actuals to achieve yearly organizational Build goals

Support Network Expansion Opportunities - Assist Market Development teams to identify opportunity areas

Standards - Establishes and maintains recommended construction standards, practices and monitoring

Vendor Management - Partners on business partner and vendor management with Finance, Procurement and Division teams to ensure accountability for growth targets

Cross-Functional Collaboration - works across HQ functional teams including Design (design funnel), Finance (budget and forecast), Procurement (business partner management), Market Development (growth opportunities)

Cross-Divisional Collaboration - Builds trusted relationships across Division, and Regional stakeholder groups.

Safety - Practices and ensures Company safety policies and procedures are followed.


Skills & Experience We're Looking For:


Ten (10) years construction management experience in cable and fiber optics.

Successfully led construction, engineering and business functions at a high growth telecom company.

Consistent record of accomplishment within a construction leadership role.

Proven skills in developing and coaching team members to maximize their skills and capabilities.

Salary:

National Pay Range: $100,157.63 USD-$225,354.67 USD
