Project description:
- Small start-up based in Singapore (GMT 8)
- Able to work from 9am to 5pm (your local time)
- Able to commit full-time for 3 months
- Project budget of USD2-4/hour
- At least 2 years of MERN experience (must provide proof of work)
- At least 1 year of marketplace/e-commerce - not wp/shopify (must provide proof of work)
- Must be comfortable working with legacy codebase
- Must be comfortable working with limited frontend mockup designs and able to improvise
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be able to start work immediately
- Must be able to attend Zoom call meetings with webcam enabled
Project Scope
- Develop new functions and features to be deployed in production in the legacy app
- Unit/Integration/UI/System/Production testing
- Deployment to staging and production servers
- Read and interpret Javascript to create new documentation from a legacy codebase
- Codebase language: Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Front-end library: ReactJS
- Query language: GraphQL, Axios
- Back-end language: Node.JS
- Back-end framework: ExpressJS
- Webserver: Apache

- Database: mySQL, mongoDB
- Server: Ubuntu 18lts (hosted on AWS)
Requirements & Responsibilities
1. At least 2 years of experience of React/Node development
2. Speaks and communicates in English
3. Code in the English language
4. Technical and theoretical documentation ability
5. Scrum framework planning and execution
6. Able to work independently
7. Git control with Bitbucket
8. Task tracking with Trello
9. Communications with Slack
10. Basic server configuration and deployment on AWS
