Will provide advice on design, construction, and property development; utilities and energy; facility services and contracts; land use, titles, and zoning; tax and regulatory issues and agreements; easements, licenses, and other land use agreements; leasing; acquisitions, and dispositions; and environmental issues. May also be called upon to work with the real estate legal team at MIT’s Investment Management Company on commercial leasing and other matters. General transactional matters could include significant procurement agreements, collaborative agreements, and legal compliance advice across a spectrum of topics faced by a complex research institute like MIT. Should have 10+ years of relevant experience. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or admission to another state's bar and ability to promptly gain admission to the Massachusetts Bar, is required.
