Labor Relations Specialist, Human Resources
The candidate will provide support and assistance to the Labor Relations Director, as well as the University's Human Resources Team. Will manage all administrative labor matters across both the Charles River and Medical campuses, and work collaboratively with various levels of management with respect to grievance avoidance. Provide support and handling of labor matters, including investigations of contract violations, discipline, management responses and handling of labor arbitrations. Deliver labor management educational programs to University business partners. Maintain detailed focus and assist in the preparation of contract negotiations materials, including assisting in the drafting and costing of formal proposals and data collection pertaining to all University contracts. Should preferably have 5+ years of labor relations experience in a unionized setting and an advanced degree, preferably a J.D. with a focus on labor management relations and a solid understanding of the National Labor Relations Act.
