Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Help build the tools to manage our infrastructure platform which supports our e-commerce and applications.
Design, build and support automated provisioning, continuous deployment and telemetry systems that help our teammates work more effectively.
Help make decisions around infrastructure technology choices that impact developer workflow, security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Contribute to the curation and prioritization of the team roadmap.
Embrace cross-team collaboration, debate, and execution, working closely with teammates in Application Engineering, Service Reliability Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, E-Commerce Engineering, and business orgs to solve problems and make sure our infrastructure evolves with our products.
Contribute to the vision for the team and the platform as technical leader, identifying new and strategic technologies that improve security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Design, build and support automated provisioning, continuous deployment and telemetry systems that help our teammates work more effectively.
Mentor up and coming engineers helping them to grow at Under Armour.
Help put out fires when development teams run into infrastructure related issues.
Build quality codebases through a process of personal and peer-reviewed development.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 3 years of progressively responsible experience building resilient, scalable systems.
Qualified candidate must possess:
3 years of experience with AWS or GCP and their commonly used services;
3 years in software development using Bash and another language (Python, Ruby, JavaScript or Go);
3 years of experience with at least one automated configuration management or provisioning framework (Terraform, SaltStack, Puppet, Ansible or Chef);
3 years of experience with Linux or Unix based infrastructure in a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP or Joyent;
3 years of experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes orchestration;
3 years of experience with Kubernetes architecture and cloud; and,
Demonstrated knowledge of: SQL and NoSQL databases; networking, storage and compute. Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.

BASE COMPENSATION RANGE: $121,000 - $166,000/year
