Senior Software Engineer : AWS/M icroservice
We are looking for software engineers to work on an extremely exciting project new to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. If you would like to participate in a green-field, AWS-based set of applications using microservice and server less technology, this is the team for you. We will be building a strong, close-knit team that will work in a DevOps environment and will contain both strong API and UI components.
AWS experience is preferred, of course, but not necessary. We have a high success rate in teaching AWS as well as other technologies. The main requirement for this position is a strong sense of curiosity, the desire to learn and the ability to work well in a team. We have a strong mentoring atmosphere and work in an agile environment with a high degree of cooperation. Characteristics: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead). Proven depth of proficiencies in more than one product areas, and often regarded as the SME. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Able to recognize strengths and limitations of team members, and adapt to leverage and mentor. Able to assume role of technical lead on projects by evaluating design and support implementation and collaborate with function groups on work to be delivered. Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
EDUCATION Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent experience.
Skills and Experience Should be 6 years of hands-on experience . Anyone who knows React this well, would have built something with it back in 2015, and should be able to talk about how React works internally. Solid understanding of features in ECMAScript 2015 and subsequent standards. Expert command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience crafting React applications and reusable libraries. Expertise with multiple state management patterns. Expertise with web application routing strategies. Expertise testing, deploying, and optimizing web applications. Significant experience with database development and API integrations.
Competencies:
Capable of sharing knowledge with external teams via tech talks, able to consistently deliver on critical tasks on any given project through proven consistency of established DevOps practices. Leads a team in modular design, implementation, and testing. Proposes low-level design for task and story level assignments as well as high level design for epic-level assignments We value ability and the person, not checkboxes on a resume.
