Position Summary
Provides support to the Technical Design Manager through basic technical proficiencies and organization. This entails all aspects of our daily operations and functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support one or more product categories from design concept to production garment
Assist in building technical packages including Bill of Materials, specs, pattern blocks, construction, etc.
Assist with establishing category standards for fit, construction and quality
Assist with fit sessions on live models then making fit changes via pattern corrections
Assist with establishing pattern blocks for the category and maintaining a pattern library
Communicate with overseas vendors
Assist with daily and seasonal tracking of prototype samples
Showcases ownership in ability to own styles and present to leadership
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Experience with Adobe Illustrator
Experience with a PDM/PLM system
Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year Fashion Design program with {2-3 } years of Technical Design experience
