Description
The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer Supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

You are a lead engineer with experience in Cloud-based platform development. You are capable of owning significant design and development responsibility. You can work with autonomy to get things done while collaborating with others on architectural and process decisions. You are comfortable with giving and receiving feedback from your teammates and others in the organization. You can think on your feet and conceptualize what needs to be done from incomplete and evolving requirements. You hit deadlines and communicate effectively.
The successful candidate will have experience with:
Azure Cloud Services
Supporting solutions architecture
Building cloud native platform
Micro services architecture
Designing data models
Additional Job Description
Required Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or above (Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering or any related field)
5 years of Cloud-based platform development experience or configuration and implementation of SaaS, PaaS, Azure, etc.
Azure Cloud certificationsProfound understanding and experience in Azure product build.
Hands-on experience with modern CICD automation eco-systems: Azure DevOps and pipelines, Azure Resource Manager, Kubernetes, GitHub, and configuration management tools.
Great communication and decision-making skills in dynamic team environments.
Experience with architecting, implementing and maintaining enterprise level highly available mission critical environments for 24x7 availability
Experience with building data lakes and data warehouses by leveraging any of the major cloud providers (GCP, AWS or Azure)
Knowledge of various persistence (RDBMS, noSQL, HDFS, Cassandra, Redis)
Knowledge of messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Experience in API design and development
Experience with Oracle, MongoDB development and optimization
Experience with Agile and software development lifecycle
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Responsive and ability to work under fast moving environment
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Technical experience with Java , Oracle , .net
DevOps and automation
Agile practices - SAFe , Scrum will be advantage
Six Sigma certification
ITIL certification
