We are in the middle of our digital transformation and are looking to expand our team. We would like to add self-starters who either have experience with or would be willing to learn Salesforce. Ideal candidates would be eager to work in both frontend and backend systems and have experience working in an Agile team.

The Senior Software Engineer codes and configures software applications based on a collaborative agreement with product owners on requirements. The Senior Software Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position will include development and design for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Vlocity implementation. This position also requires ability to bring innovation to the team through stretch projects such as proof of technology research, devops pipeline build out, etc.

Responsibilities

The Salesforce Senior Software Engineer will support the application development for the migration of legacy capabilities into the Salesforce Sales Cloud utilizing Lightning Components. This developer will be working with the Vlocity application in addition to Sales Cloud to satisfy business requirements in an agile fashion. The developer will also be responsible for helping to maintain and advance our CI/CD pipeline.

The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
3 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure.
3 years of professional experience developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce Pages, and Lightning Components
Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular JS, etc)
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Experience with Agile Software Development methodology.


Preferred Qualifications


Master's Degree or equivalent experience
Familiar with EDA (Event Driven Architecture) design paradigm, Salesforce Streaming API, Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Kafka messaging
Experience working with and writing intermediate to advanced queries in relational databases (SOQL, SQL, Postgres, Oracle, etc)
Experience working with Salesforce APIs and Web Services (REST, SOAP)
Azure DevOps experience
Copado experience
Mulesoft experience
