Job Goal
: To serve as an essential team member for the Madison City Schools ACCESS Support Center, to work with staff, e-teachers, and school personnel across north Alabama to ensure a high quality program and to provide necessary managerial support for an efficient and well organized program.
Qualifications:
Minimum of B.S. Degree
Three (3) plus years experience working with desktop and web-based applications
Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for all ACCESS clients and personnel
Assist in the coordination of ACCESS courses delivered by Video Conference and Web-based Instruction
Assist with developing, implementing and maintaining training plan for online teachers, school facilitators and school principals/counselors
Assist with all efforts in providing quality instruction for ACCESS online courses
Support and maintain internal ACCESS systems, to include, but not exclusively, the ACCESS Support Center website and the ACCESS Administrative Database
Organize and maintain accurate records
Help with reports and projects as directed
Conduct research for and assist with new and existing hardware/software upgrades
Ability to deal with people in person, with email or on the telephone in a pleasant, courteous manner
Perform other duties within the scope of his/her employment as may be assigned
This position will be subject to the Students First Act of 2011. Madison City Schools reserves the right to fill this position by transfer of a qualified applicant who is already employed by Madison City Schools.
Under the Students First Act of 2011, no credit toward tenure or non-probationary status is earned in the initial school year of employment if the date of hire occurs after September 30.
Expected Employment:
240 days/ 8 hrs. (full year)
Evaluation:
According to established Board policies and administrative procedures and guidelines.
Salary Range
: $35,595 - $41,149 (Salary based on employment for complete year)
