What do we expect from you?
We are looking for someone who has strong experience developing user interfaces for applications on Android adhere to Material design.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers to deeply understand the needs of our users and clients and then plan, design, and build features that best serve those needs.
Design, Architect efficient and reusable app abstractions that drive Android UI’s
Engage with designers in discussions about product and interaction design
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Required:
3-5 years of experience in building Android applications in Java & Kotlin.
Good understanding in large code bases, including API contract design techniques to keep them maintainable.
Experience in partnering with designers to evaluate & implement designs in Android
Knowledge with Android UI design principles, patterns, accessibility practices and Material design
