In this role you will:
Manage and develop data API solutions for consumers
Manage and develop Hadoop jobs to support offline data pipeline
Manage and develop services for online data flows
Drive infrastructure initiatives and implement robust and scalable solutions.
Work with developers, architects, product managers and other stakeholders, facilitate and accelerate execution.
Your qualifications are:
2 years of experience in software development (Java/JVM language)
Advanced knowledge in object oriented design and programming concepts
Understanding of the challenges in distributed systems
Ability to learn and adopt new technologies
Excellent communication skills
Strong analysis and design skills
Team player
Familiarity with Big Data technologies - advantage.
Experience with Spark - advantage
