We continue to be on a tear while enjoying incredible growth year over year.As a Business Intelligence Analyst and Developer, you will be responsible for developing enterprise level reporting solutions using Tableau, that deliver the needs of our technology and business partners. You will operate as a primary analyst and developer of Tableau, one of the analytics reporting solutions at Splunk. Additionally, this position will influence the design solutions, data preparation and modeling and visualization techniques across different departmental domain areas in Enterprises Data Warehouse.Responsibilities:Responsible for engaging product owners and CS business stakeholders to gather requirements and use agile methodology to deliver Tableau dashboards.Collaborate with teams to design, develop, maintain and manage advanced Tableau dashboards that meet product requirementsPerform complex SQL based data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.Act as a Mentor for other Enterprise BI developers and influence Visualization standard methodologies in TableauWork with business units to define requirements, use various data sources to develop and release Tableau workbooks that suit business analytics needs.Assist in developing creative methodologies, procedures, user adoption strategies, develop and design innovative ways to view and interact with data visualization for Business Analysis.Conduct group and individual, in-person and remote Tableau training sessions for staff members.Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in dataRequirements:Several years of experience in Cloud data warehouse/data lake and Tableau business intelligence projectsExperience analyzing complex dataset using SQL to develop and automate reports or analysis that lead to useful business insights .Solid experience with relational databases (Snowflake, Redshift) optimizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analyses.We value - Active in Tableau Community (Public), Tableau certifications, Knowledge of BI principles and standard methodologies, Experience starting Tableau program, experienced data analyst.Experience with business intelligence analytic and data wrangling tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Data Prep, or Python is highly desired.Familiar with utilization of source code repository(GitHub) and Tableau APIsEducation: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field#LI-RemoteWe value diversity at our company.
