We are looking for a Head of Risk Technology & Analytics to lead the strategy, development and management of the Risk Technology solutions required to support the execution of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This includes the ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tool and developing a risk database and set of dashboards covering all Level 1 Risk types.
Key responsibilities include:
Own the Enterprise Risk technology strategy including, but not limited to, Service Now modules used for Risk, and development of a Risk dashboard for intraday monitoring of risk metrics sourced from across the Group
Day to day system administration for Service Now, including liaison with IT Service Now support lead
Maintain all SN license applications for Risk, and revising functionality and workflow for non financial risk frameworks (operational, technology and data & info)
Evolve SN functionality and services to optimize value for Risk and the business (incorporate business continuity and vendor risk capabilities to meet Group needs)
Architect, build and maintain a risk database with all Level 1 Risk leads
Interactive risk dashboards for each L1 risk stripe including all required analytics
Aggregated risk reporting across L1 risks (capital, market, liquidity, credit, operational, technology, data and info)
Real time alerts where thresholds and tolerances are breached
LE, department and group level risk reports – scheduled and ad hoc analytics and reporting capability
Build and maintain all controls around Risk data in SN and the Risk dashboard to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of reporting/analysis
Deliver system functionality and/or supports ad hoc analysis of Risk data to meet ERC, CRO or exec requests in all Les
Undertake ad hoc analysis of Risk data at the request of CRO – delivers high quality outputs and conclusions
You are someone who will have:
8 years experience in financial services or related industry where management, manipulation and presentation of large and complex data sets is required
Ability to assimilate, distill and analyze disparate data sets (structures, sources, formats, code, etc.) to support critical analysis and reach actionable conclusions
Data analytics background, ideally related to Risk Management – qualifications in data management, administration, analytics required
Familiarity with maintaining, configuring and using Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools – knowledge of SN a bonus
Experience in taking big data and building user dashboards for analysis and interrogation using data visualization and business intelligence solutions software e.g. Tableau, QlikSense, BO, Cognos, etc.
Ability to take business requirements, translate into accurate functional specifications and delivery accurate and user friendly data solutions
