Coastal/Marine Environmental Project Manager

Profile

Coastal Systems International is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Coral Gables, FL office to manage coastal/marine/waterfront projects and process required permits (relative to JCP and ERP permitting). Responsibilities will include coordination with environmental agencies and professional design/consulting team members; processing federal, state, and county environmental regulatory permits; code compliance reviews; conducting marine resource assessments; writing environmental impact assessments, and other technical analyses for development projects in Florida and the Caribbean. Candidate must have a Master's degree in related field such as Marine Biology / Ecology / Geology / Affairs, Coastal / Civil / Structural Engineering, Coastal Zone Management/Planning, or Environmental Science and at least 3 years of experience (or Bachelor's plus 5 years of experience). Florida-based experienced is preferred. Candidate must also be SCUBA certified, and posses excellent communication skills, technical writing skills, and experience reviewing architectural / engineering plans. An interest in development / environmental law are a plus.
