Job Description:
What is the role?
The current Contracting and Procurement (C&P) and Planning and Logistics organizations will be replaced with an integrated organization focused on delivering a safe, efficient and cost-effective supply chain. The accountabilities of this organization will be aligned with the Global Asset Management System (AMS) processes outlined in the Manage Supply Chain (MSC) and Integrated Activity Planning and Scheduling (IAPS) portion of AMS. 
As a member of a Supply Chain Commercial Operations Team, this role will provide support to tactical and operational contracting and procurement activities, including the support to Upstream business as well as the functions and technology group. The SC commercial operation lead will work in partnership with the SC commercial Production and wells team to achieve common goals. It is also part of the remit of this role to ensure the CMCP and RtP process are followed and managed effectively to ensure a smooth and compliant process.
The Supply Chain Commercial Analyst will support the execution of sourcing requirements according to Shell’s Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP) including Contract Strategy, Tactics and Contract Management activities for the assigned contract portfolio and collaborate with:
internal (Shell) stakeholders in development and execution of procurement strategies driving towards value maximization. [Pre-Award Phase]
internal (Shell) & External (Suppliers) Stakeholders in ensuring delivery of maximum value via each of the awarded contract/commercial deal. [Post-Award Phase]
Key Accountabilities:
Apply the CMCP process and CP operations practices while focusing on contribution to the business drivers and not compromising on compliance for HSSE&SP, E&C, Code of Conduct, Laws and regulations. 
Understand the changes in the business, business drivers and external environment and trigger adjustment of supply chain end to end processes, category strategies and contracts. 
Support performance of key operational contracts including driving sourcing excellence across all contracts
Drive total cost reductions and value towards business aspirational targets. Identify opportunities in the category and contract portfolio to create more value and/or to eliminate waste.   
Responsible for the end to end category management for the assigned categories, which includes building and owning the category strategy, develop and maintain strong network in the market, being fully aware of supplier developments and opportunities coming up in the market and develop the category capability across the local supply chain community.   
Responsible for building highly collaborative relationships with key supply chain stakeholders and business partners, foster the category collaboration with Petrobras and ensuring that supply chain strategies are fully aligned to the business objectives and that supply chain bottom line contribution are fully reflected in Business Plans and quarterly LEs.  
Understand the changes in the business, business drivers and external environment and trigger adjustment of supply chain end to end processes, category strategies and contracts.  
Determine the right commercial models (e.g. output-based contract) to encourage the right behaviors and expectations from suppliers to optimize alignment of supply chain and asset delivery.  
Drive continuous improvement by replicating game changer improvements and recommended practices. Facilitate discussions on process performance and inefficiencies. 
Identify initiatives to drive simpler, more effective contracting and procurement processes
Support end-to-end Request to Pay process including interface with accounts payable, when needed
Provide insight into Business organization & ways of working, ensure changes meet needs of Line of Business.
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or other relevant fields is required.
At least 3 years of proven experience in contract negotiations & complex tender evaluation.
Track record of execution excellence & delivering results.
Direct experience of CMCP and Requisition-to-Pay (RtP) process in procurement/expediting, inventory management or similar type role
Knowledge of the E2E CMCP/ RtP processes, including Red Threads
Strong system knowledge of tools like ERP SAP, SAP Ariba etc
Strong experience in Supply Chain, gained through operations or excellence roles in planning/ logistics/ materials management/contracting and procurement or in the business.  
Demonstrate knowledge of both Upstream Operations (offshore, shore-based, Wells, Projects, Production) and Upstream business priorities and strategic intent to adapt and optimize to fluctuating business demands.  
Continuous improvement and simplification mindset
Strong and Proven Interpersonal, Influencing & Stakeholder Management Skills.
Strong commercial skills including experience in negotiating deals, developing and executing tenders, embedding requirements for Ethics and HSSE&SP, managing contracts. 
Ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time.  
Uncompromising on HSSE, ethics & compliance. Good knowledge of HSE Management Systems.
Highly driven, ‘can do’, inspiring, with ability to articulate in a crisp and precise manner.
This position will work both in the office and remotely.
Fluency in both Portuguese and English is a must.
