Description

The Systems Engineer - L2 Infrastructure Ops and Services (Workstation Patch Management) is accountable for the oversight and execution of services focused on vulnerability remediation support. The Systems Engineer also monitoring and maintenance of systems software solutions, based on the thorough knowledge of system engineering concepts and techniques.

Responsibilities


Workstation patching for a large number of devices including multiple 3rd party products and Operating systems
Ability to work on Windows Operating systems
Ability to work on vulnerability management in a large corporate environment
Ability to utilize MEMCM to create software deployments.
Effectively collaborate across program owners, business areas, and segments.
Design and build reports, including data visualizations, using complex logic and multiple data sources.
Thoroughly test reports and obtain user validation.
Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly during outages or major incidents.
Ability to be an effective team member and provide coordination across complex teams and organizations.
Work with a team of onshore and offshore contractors and help them with patching implementations and automations


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
3-4 years in a technical support/systems administration
Experience with Windows Operating systems
Experience with vulnerability Patching, Monitoring and Trouble shooting
Experience with MEMCM
Create reports to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and specific business performance issues
Experience collecting & gathering information from stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications


Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask across multiple technologies preferred
DevOps exposure/experience.
Knowledge and experience with cloud would be a plus
Experience with Power Bi


Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Connectivity requirements are detailed below.

Connectivity - Requirement Details

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:


At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
