A dynamic capital markets firm providing market access and trade execution services across multiple asset classes to buy-side, sell-side and corporate issuer clients is looking for Mid to Sr. level Java Developers to design and develop mission critical systems.


Accountability:

Work in a growing team on new development that will take this large financial services firm to the next level. The firm has positions from the mid to senior level. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Core Java, strong multithreading skills in Java, Messaging, and Unix/Linux.

Required Skills:

* 4 - 10 years of Core Java development experience (especially JDBC, data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading).
* Strong with Multithreading.
* Strong with Collections
* Unix shell scripting skill is a must, preferably on Redhat Linux.
* RDBMS development skill, such as writing DDL and DML, is a plus.
* Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science is a must.
* Masters degree in Computer Science is a plus.
* Knowledge of fixed income. bonds, clearing/settlements, or electronic trading a strong plus
* Brokerage, investment bank, financial services and/or hedge fund experience required.
* Highly motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and strong communication skills.
