What We’re Looking For:
The Junior Brand Strategist plays a key role in interpreting actionable insights and developing strategy recommendations across the full portfolio of graduate and undergraduate programs. Reporting to a Director of Brand Strategy, this role will work
across a portfolio of programs, both independently and with brand director and strategist guidance, to drive initiatives and inform strategy. This work will include, but is not limited to, conversion innovation, market trends, competitor audits, audience personas and segmentation, 2U portfolio research and testing
Success in this role is marked by an innate curiosity to understand 2U business objectives, improve partner growth and create measurable results.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Craft hypotheses and action plans to test, evaluate and scale new initiatives tied to business objectives
Provide analysis, recommendations, and rationale to drive strategy implementation and improvements
Develop brand briefs that communicate opportunity and inspire creative momentum for our partner’s brand
Work closely with Brand Director and Brand Strategists, marketing leadership and cross-functional counterparts to uncover new opportunities and introduce new initiatives to improve overall conversion.
Independently develop program marketing insights, stemming from research, funnel analytics and an ongoing understanding of the competitive landscape.
Demonstrate deep analytic and creative thinking through continuously looking for opportunities to improve messaging, segmentation and/or conversion portfolio-wide
Partner with 2U platform teams and external partners, like Facebook, Google, Linkedin and others, to identify key trends and performance characteristics that marketing should be leveraging to drive results.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices and pitch Brand leadership on new, innovative ideas and testing aimed at expanding program reach, improving conversion and response rates and/or increasing organic amplification
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
1-3 years as a Marketing/Brand Senior Coordinator or similar job function
Bachelor's degree required, major in marketing preferred
Experience across online and offline marketing tactics
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams
Data fluency with an interest to stretch both analytical and creative program solving muscles
Must be highly organized and have great attention to detail
Experience with Tableau and Google Analytics is a plus
Ability to maintain a fun, casual, professional and productive team atmosphere
Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
