SummaryThe Warehouse Manager II is responsible for managing the overall warehouse activities of a location withnmedium sales volume and moderately complex operations. This includes leading warehouse personnel,npurchasing, product receiving and storage, facilitating use of the Retail Management System, as well asnauditing its data for accuracy, and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or asnassigned by Management. This is an exempt position and typically reports to the General Manager,ndepending on local requirements.Essential Functionsn Prepares daily scheduling of warehouse personnel in accordance with business needsn Supervises and trains all warehouse associatesn Ensures purchases are in accordance with company specifications and are from approvednvendors; provides feedback to Management regarding item and vendor issuesn Oversees the ticketing of all items to ensure the process is timely, accurate, and in accordancenwith company standardsn Manages the data flow from ordering and receiving forms, and ensures data is correctly enteredninto the Retail Management Systemn Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levelsn Fosters open communication between warehouse and other management staffnMinimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environmentn Requires a High School diploma or general education development (GED) diploma; 2 years ofnformal post-high school education preferredn Requires a minimum of 3 years Inventory Management/Merchandising/Retail experience innmedium volume and/or multi-unit Food and Beverage or Merchandise operations or other relatednmanagement experiencen Requires 2 years minimum of driving experience and a valid State Driver’s Licensen Requires excellent time management skills, project management skills, and proven presentationnskillsn Requires a high level of computer literacy, including expertise in Excel, Outlook and Wordn Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence andnpolicy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customersn Requires basic keyboarding or other repetitive motionsn Requires the ability to safely lift and/or move up to 50 lbsn Requires operation of heavy equipment or vehiclesnWith a career at HMSHost, you really benefit!
