What you will do

As a Software Developer, you will be a member of the strategic Customer 360 initiative and will have the unique opportunity to shape the innovative digital solutions serving Healthcare Professionals around the world. This role will be part of a newly established product team within the Global Commercial Organization Digital Technology & Innovation (GCO DTI), and develop the product, including web portal, mobile app and dashboard, integrations with other internal and external systems, data flow pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources in various data format to enterprise data lake.

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Data & Analytics Stakeholders, and Product Owner, to craft and develop end-to-end solution to meet fast paced business need across geographic regions
  • Serve as software developer of the new product, including improving current features and adding new modules, channels, scaling, and integrations
  • Serve as system admin to own the product through its lifecycle
  • Adhere to standard methodologies for coding, testing and designing reusable code/component
  • Explore new technologies that will help to improve the product
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings and provide estimations on technical implementation; Collaborate and communicate effectively with the product teams

Bachelors degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience OR

Associates degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on Experience with web development, java script, html, CSS, any web framework or microservice architecture
  • 2+ years of experience with data modeling
  • Experience working with Sitecore platform, UI and back-end
  • Experience with software engineering best-practices, including but not limited to version control (Git, Subversion, etc.), CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven etc.), automated unit testing, JIRA, and Dev Ops
  • Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, S3, EMR, RDS, Redshift/Spectrum, Lambda, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, API Gateway
  • Full stack development using cloud services (AWS preferred) and cloud-native tools and design patterns (Containers, Serverless, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum
  • Knowledge of UX, user journeys, human-centered design
  • Biotech / Pharma experience is a plus
