Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks a Product Manager in McLean, VA.
Work You’ll Do
Offer advice to clients on financial, economic and strategic “lifecycle” events and transactions through four main service areas: Corporate Finance, Forensic & Dispute Services, Reorganization Services and Valuation Services. Provide such services as: forensic and litigation consulting; corporate investigations; technology risk assessments; electronic data recovery/evidence management; transaction advisory services for acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations; business valuation; and restructuring. Help companies identify measure and articulate the value of their assets by providing independent and well-supported valuations. Help clients to properly quantify and articulate values for financial reporting, taxation, transaction, financing, litigation, and strategic management purposes. Understand the requirements associated with the development of value conclusions under GAAP, tax, and regulatory rules that allow companies to understand the value of an entity, asset, or liability so they can make informed business and investment decisions. Manage the day to day aspects of client relationships and projects. Has responsibility for the quality of client deliverables, mentoring and developing staff and senior associates, developing client network, and supporting efforts in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies. Help clients understand, assess, and operationalize complex accounting and reporting changes. Integrate technological solutions through processes and methodologies tailored to client need. Create and deliver presentations to obtain new business engagements.

Requirements
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Five years of experience advising and making recommendations to clients on technical accounting and operational finance matters.
Experience must include one year of:
Assessing the impact of new accounting standards and operationalizing complex accounting and reporting changes for clients;
Preparing restatement adjustments for complex, multi-element sales arrangements across various revenue streams in accordance with ASC 606 (revenue from Contracts with Customers);
Implementing cloud-based accounting software to optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and reporting;
Performing analytics on 10-Q and 10-K filings;
Posting General Ledger entries and performing monthly reconciliations;
Integrating different accounting systems and proposing plans for efficiency;
Attending and presenting workshops to address the impact of accounting regulations to clients utilizing PowerPoint;
Developing technology implementation plans for accounting software;
Managing multiple accounts related to technology license subscriptions; and
Mentoring and training team members.
Position requires 60% travel.
