Job Description
About the Team:
This team is an inclusive group of engineers driven by servant leadership who value the culture of Ownership, Transparency, Innovation, Collaboration, and Continuous Learning. Our team is responsible for building a data hub to enable Enterprise Data Privacy and Governance program to report on its Remediation activities. As a Privacy Data Engineer, you will be working with Program teams in planning, design, testing, implementation, and management of centralized data hub with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. data privacy and security focus.
Core Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of data engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills.
Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to translate them into data needs and determine if data fits technical specifications.
Researches, writes, and edits documentation and technical requirements, including data model, data flow, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
Monitors and evaluates applications and products.
Reviews literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
Provides technical leadership throughout the development process including guidance with engineering best practices. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers.
Displays in-depth knowledge process design and redesign skills and project management skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Availability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

You will gain experience in:
Software development skills in Scala and Spark
Data Integration tools experience. Previous use of Spark, Kafka, Kinesis is preferred.
Experience using Docker or Kubernetes.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For:
3 years of working with ETL technologies, with experience in AWS or other cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
3 years proven experience working with tools to query and manipulate data in varying file formats
Database management experience using SQL and NoSQL database management systems.
Software development skills in Python or Equivalent
Experience building REST APIs
Experience Working in an Agile team
