is looking for 2 Senior Java Developers for 6 month contract assignments
with a client in San Jose, CA
. Expertise and work efforts focus on Java programming and development for new and modification of existing products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
in business, software engineering or computer science; advanced degree desirable.
7 years of experience
in software design or product support.
Professional experience with Core Java, JEE
application development
Professional experience with Frameworks
: Server side, Spring Framework preferred
Professional experience with relational database products; MySQL preferred.
Experience working in clustered environments
required
Professional experience using common source code control tools, especially SVN
Professional experience with JUnit or similar tools
Professional experience with Javascript, specifically jQuery, AJAX and JSON
Working familiarity with common server operating systems, especially Linux and Windows
IDEs: Familiar with one or more of the following: Eclipse, STS, Rational Application Developer, NetBeans, JBoss, WSAD.
Strong JMS experience
Open source
experience, Apache

Knowledge of Asynchronous Network IO

Knowledge of GeoDNS
is a plus
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies
, design and implementation.
Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple product level.

Excellent understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
