Director Clinical Quality Analytics - Remote position

The Director, Clinical Quality Analytics
manages across multiple cross-functional teams of applications, infrastructure, and business resources in the development of small to large complex clinical and quality initiatives. Key responsibilities include oversight of the development of clinical quality reporting requirements, partner with stakeholders on quality reporting strategy, analysis of quality data, and quality vendor relationship management. Drives change for clinical and quality effectiveness in branches by analyzing needs and implementing improvement methodologies and education. Assures implementation and on-going adherence of Corporate Compliance Program. Works under general direction
Essential Functions:
Leads, coordinates, and analyzes all impacts related to home health clinical quality analytics.
Collate, model, interpret and analyze clinical quality data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends in a bidirectional consumable manner both for the branch and regional clinical leaders as well as senior leadership.
Drive and collaborate on strategic planning for ongoing improvement and development on CMS (e.g., HHVBP, Stars, HHCAHPS, IMPACT) and organization specific initiatives (e.g., Spotlight, QAPI, MOR, STI, board).
Leads competitive data gathering for clinical quality data and communicates associated analysis to stakeholders.
Gather information, analyze, and present results of multiple clinical quality programs to stakeholders.
Conduct analysis, benchmark scores against major competitors and the CMS trend for all home health
Collaborates with Governing Body/Performance Improvement subcommittee to assure executive oversight by the Governing Body –in compliance with CoP standards.
Compiles/analyzes data at both the state and provider level in the HHVBP program Develops and assists with implementation of value-based purchasing tools for trending, so locations can identify their opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with IT and external vendors to facilitate additional reporting needs for quality and/or clinical practice initiatives. Stays educated on healthcare topics, innovations, and industry trends utilizing governmental and industry resources
Develop and track Key Performance Indicators to measure clinical quality success. Ensures consistent data parameters used for patient census in quality and oversee data submitted to the division
Develop and communicate key monthly clinical quality reports and analyses to stakeholders.
Define and articulate scalable strategy and vision for future clinical quality program analytics and educational needs.
Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders to drive and develop strategic education and content on clinical quality programs.
Provide oversight and subject matter expertise on Home Health Quality Reporting Program requirements and CMS quality measure technical specifications.
Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders (clinical, marketing, operations) to drive top clinical quality acknowledgement and recognize clinical success appreciation.
Drive standardization, efficiency, and process improvements in clinical quality reporting.
Communicates with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Able to operate effectively as both a team leader and as an individual contributor.
Adheres to and participates in Company's mandatory HIPAA privacy programs/practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs/practices.
Reviews and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Required Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing, Health Care Administration, or the equivalent.
Minimum of five years health care experience including three years in home health operations required.
Thorough knowledge of home healthcare industry and related regulatory environment required.
Strong knowledge of CMS clinical quality reporting program principles and public reporting.
Excellent project management skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-up skills.
Proven ability to provide both operational and strategic leadership.
Able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be a self-motivated and highly analytical person who thrives in ambiguity and promotes improvement across highly matrixed programs and business functions.
Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10-20%.
Position requires full COVID-19 vaccination.
