The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer is for Data engineering team / Data warehouse team. Candidate will support development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Supports development/conversion and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure for existing on-prem solutions. Collaborates with business and IT architects and tech leads to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Helps with the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
2 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Strong technical knowledge and experience of cloud services for Azure and/or GCP.
Experience and knowledge of on-prem Oracle Database
Experience with ETL tools i.e. StreamSets, Informatica etc.
Agile / Solutions oriented individual.
Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based servers and services running various operating systems in an enterprise environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Cloud Certifications in Azure or GCP or
Experience using cloud and willing to get certified within a year of hiring.


Preferred Qualifications


Experience with migrating from on-prem to Cloud
