Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, create and build client relationships while sponsoring interactions to obtain contracts. Assist in developing and facilitating the capture process for specific clients/business partners including budget and pricing development, developing win themes, proposal inputs, and client presentations in the government and private sectors. Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
· Coordinate activities involving sale of services, software, and hardware · Stay abreast of technology advances in sectors served by CDO · Coordinate with other Business Development personnel and corporate staff in developing and submitting proposals, Requests for Information and marketing presentations · Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with various client groups to anticipate and resolve potential problems · Maintain Account pipeline that supports assigned goals and objectives · Track and report on the status of all proposal components
Job Requirements :
Qualifications/Skill and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical discipline
Minimum of five years experience in market analysis and business development of information system & service opportunities within Department of Defense
Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiations skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with budgeting/proposal process
