Compliance Coordinator (Administrative Analyst/Specialist Exempt I)
Duties: Ensure institutional control in complying with NCAA, CCAA and university regulations policies and procedures. Performs a full range of duties tied to research, analysis, development, evaluation, making recommendations and providing operational analysis in support of the Intercollegiate Athletics department as it relates to compliance. Serves as the program administrator and is responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the University's comprehensive compliance program. Developing and maintaining effective operating procedures and administrative systems to ensure institutional compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University regulations. Assisting in developing and maintaining effective operating procedures and administrative systems related to assigned duties and responsibilities to ensure compliance and institutional control per institutional requirements, conference requirements, and within NCAA Articles 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 19; Updating Institutional Request List (IRL), Compliance Assistant (CAi), ACS athletics, institutional student groups, and queries; Designing, developing, and maintaining compliance related forms, links, and information on institutional webpages; Developing and maintaining compliance related policies and procedures; Overseeing the reporting/monitoring of all Countable Athletically Related Activities (CARA); Managing the administrative side of the recruiting process including the official/unofficial visits, tryouts, contacts, evaluations, and telephone calls; Overseeing Playing and Practice Season (PPS) declarations; Facilitating Compliance-Intake-Meetings; Assisting in the ongoing education of institutional staff relative to conference and NCAA legislation, interpretations, educational materials, and best practices; Assisting in providing data for and submission of institutional reports; Overseeing requested/requests for transfer-tracers and permission to contact; Preparing and/or assist on waiver requests, interpretation requests, and violation reports; Maintaining prospective, current, and former student-athlete files, both hardcopy and electronic; Attending NCAA and conference meetings related to assigned duties and responsibilities; Assisting in various programming designed for student-athletes; Maintaining active communication with the Student-Athlete Academic Advisor.
