Duties: Reports to the President and provides legal representation and counsel to the University administration, faculty and staff who are acting in their official capacities. Generalist who is expected to be knowledgeable on a wide variety of issues involving the University, including litigation, employment and student issues, real estate, contracts, environmental issues, and government regulation. Facilitator and advocate for the University. Assist the President and members of the Executive Team in identifying specialty attorneys who can manage complex issues involving development of the Innovation Campus, patents, contracts and other important legal matters.
