Infrastructure Project Manager

Profile

The ideal Sr. IT Infrastructure project manager will possess the following experience/skill sets:
UNIX TO LINUX- PLATFORM MIGRATION EXPERIENCE
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
Reviews deliverables prepared by team
Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
Minimizes exposure and risk on project
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a bi-weekly basis
Manages project budget
Manages day-to-day customer interaction
Sets and manages customer expectations
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
Holds regular status meetings with project team
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information
Proven prior experience delivering IT projects on time and within budget
Excellent ability to work in a team environment
10 years experience managing IT infrastructure projects
Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and - PowerPoint
Proficiency in Microsoft Project
