Team Lead - Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst

World renowned hospital in Miami is seeking a Team Lead Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst for a direct hire opportunity paying up $100K for the ideal candidate.

Job Summary:
Leads activities for the team of Business Systems Analysts/ programming/System Engineer professionals. Responsible for identifying and implementing information system solutions that support more efficient and effective work performance. Coordinates application system administration and serves as an educator and expert resource regarding system functionality. Supervises daily department workflow and tasks so that projects or incidents are assigned and completed in a timely manner.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Expert knowledge of one or more programming languages/ reporting systems, including RPG, COBOL, Java, XML, SQL, Crystal Reports, Hyperion, SAS.
Practical experience with project delivery and systems development life cycles.
Prior experience with patient financial services, patient management and/or health information systems preferred.
Solid UNIX shell programming skills and knowledge of AIX including: UNIX Commands; Shells & shell programming, etc.; OR Solid Windows Server skills and knowledge; OR Solid iSeries skills and knowledge


Minimum Job Requirements:
1 year prior supervisory experience is highly desired. 5 years experience designing, implementing, and supporting billing and revenue cycle application systems. Healthcare experience is highly desired. 7 years experience in Information Systems development, implementation and support BS in Computer Sciences/ Information Systems/Business major or at least 5 years experience in Information Technology in a technical role. Expert business system configuration, design, implementation and administration (5 years hands-on experience), including one or more of the following: McKesson Series/Star systems; Cerner Millenium systems; Epic Patient Billing systems; Horizon Patient Folder or similar document imaging systems; Ascent or other contract management systems.
