Biologist Jobs

The biologist studies basic principles of plant and animal life related to their life and functions. The biologist collects biological data related to their origin, development, anatomy and the life cycle of the organism. There are various types of biologists depending on the discipline that they research on, such as physiologists, geneticists, pathologists, nutritionists, pharmacologists, biophysicists, ecologists, zoologists, marine biologists, etc. Biologist study about the structure of living organisms, heredity, effects of diseases, conversion of food into energy, effects of drugs, determine environmental effects of present and potential use of land and water areas, and many other biological tasks depending on their profession. Almost all biologists are skilled in basic research techniques though they might differ in areas of specialization.

The job requirements for the biologist vary according to every biological-related profession. A bachelor's degree is mandatory for every profession, although masters in biology with adequate experience will be required for directorial positions.
