Engineer Jobs

The pool of engineer positions in the area of energy conservation and energy generations include positions like marine engineer, hydraulics engineer, civil engineer, electrical engineer, power plant engineer, construction engineer, chemical engineer and nuclear engineer. An engineer is typically responsible for supervising the energy generation plant operations; performing audit for plants, guiding and mentoring the plant operators, assessing the performance of workers, preparing technical and administrative reports, participating in incorporating technical changes, assisting managers on technical and administrative tasks, keeping updated in the area of alternative energy and other relevant areas, and performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor. An engineer typically reports to an engineering manager.
An engineer should have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electronics engineering or any other relevant area. Excellent academic credentials are required. A master's in a specific area may be advantageous.
