Environmental Specialist Jobs.

The environmental specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining management information systems which identify the location of hazardous materials in all facilities. The environmental specialist constantly updates and delivers employee training programs related to hazardous materials and waste. The environmental specialist supervises the work of outside contractors involved in removing or testing hazardous materials. He investigates employee complaints concerning exposure to hazardous pollutants. The environmental specialist has to maintain accurate records related to chemical inventories. He keeps informed of current and proposed regulations related to program areas assigned. The environmental specialist inspects the sampling process related to hazardous and/or industrial waste and bulk sampling of suspected asbestos in different materials.

The environmental specialist should preferably a science graduate specializing in environmental science. He should possess ample experience of more than 5 years for the post.
