Environmental Technician Jobs

The Environmental technician conducts technical research studies to develop theories or methods of abating or controlling sources of environmental pollutants, utilizing nature\\\'s knowledge of principles and concepts. The Environmental technician also determines data collection methods to be employed in research projects and surveys. He plans and develops latest environmental research models, using knowledge of mathematical, statistical, and physical science concepts and approaches. The Environmental technician mostly identifies and analyzes sources of pollution to determine their effects and collects and synthesizes data derived from pollution emission measurements and atmospheric monitoring. The Environmental technician also analyses meteorological and mineralogical information, and soil or water samples.

The Environmental technician should at least be a post graduate in environmental science, or any related discipline. Hands-on experience of at least 3 years is required too.
