A volunteer may develop and establish database of business volunteers, managing two database administrators and may also handle all criminal record checking within the organisation ensuring that government legislation and the relevant codes of practice are adhered. A volunteer looks after documentations, reporting and data management; and develops periodic plans to mobilize. Volunteers belong to various sections across the society including youth, professional associations, social clubs and societies, and employee groups. A volunteer plays an important role in the development of young enterprise’s ongoing volunteer recruitment and retention strategy acting as a central contact point for national corporate volunteering projects.
A volunteer requires a bachelor’s degree in public relations/ communications/ media relations and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. A volunteer should manage and co-ordinate a diverse workload and manage multiple priorities and be IT literate. A volunteer must be able to travel in desired area and maintain effective use of time, staff and A volunteer and must have the ability to motivate and develop a team. A volunteer should have good oral and written communication skills.
