Best Buy Co. has an opening in Richfield, Minnesota for the position of Software Engineering Manager. Manage highly technical software and systems development work and QA activities, including stand-ups, iteration planning, coding, design reviews, and technical discussions to determine technical direction; work with product and creative teams, product managers, other technical leaders, and stakeholders within the company to clarify software requirements, priorities, and deadlines; lead Application Developers or Engineers, which includes providing timely and clear work direction, delegating to others to deliver outcomes, and providing in-the-moment feedback and coaching to others; implement Sterling commerce product for Order Management; perform fit gap analysis with Sterling Commerce Distributed Order Management capabilities and suggest alternate solutions; bridge gap between business and technology to develop the right solutions for our business; Partner with our business to define application roadmaps which will support our various ventures in this rapidly changing marketplace; drive end-to-end solution architecture integrity, preparing solution blueprints, work plans, and the functional relationship with other enterprise applications; and create functional and technical application designs related to scale, performance, security, and usability for Selling, Sourcing and Fulfillment systems for capabilities across all channels and fulfillment methods for omni-channel retailing. Full Requirements: At least a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Foreign Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, plus four years of experience developing and managing applications in Spring MVC, Spring Rest and Spring Data JPA (Hibernate) Applications, Junit and/or Spock. Agile Delivery using IntelliJ, Jenkins, Gradle, Sonarqube, Selenium, and Restful Architecture; and at least three years of experience must have also involved using Jira, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Dynatrace, and Web Applications using Hypermedia.
