Duties

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery and motion practice

• Handle depositions and assist in trial preparation (for experienced candidates)

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication

• Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines

Requirements

• Entry-level applicants: Strong academic record and writing ability

• Experienced applicants:

  • 3–4 years of litigation experience

  • Proven skills in deposition and motion practice

  • Demonstrated ability to handle cases with some autonomy

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan (or pending bar results if newly graduated)
