Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Coral Gables, FL, to join their plaintiff-side employment litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to gain substantial courtroom experience and develop a meaningful practice.

Duties

• Run cases from early stages through resolution with guidance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage written discovery and disputes.
• Participate in mediations and settlement strategies.
• Assist with and eventually lead trial preparation.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of litigation experience.
• Deposition and civil discovery experience required.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Employment law experience is helpful but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
