Legal Support Assistant
The candidate will provide a high level of customer service to internal and external clients. Receive and complete assignments from attorneys and attorney support teams. Utilize programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create and edit materials as requested, e.g., closing-related materials, briefs, motions and agreements. Coordinate and arrange meetings and conference calls including special arrangements such as meals and technology setups. Enter time and review time entries in Intapp. Create New Business forms. Research information regarding clients, news reports, and background on a variety of topics, as requested by teams. Print, scan, organize, and distribute documents upon request, and coordinate with Office Services to arrange for custom reprographics/binding. Assist with billing processes and contact internal clients as appropriate and collaborate with finance team. Review, process, and audit expense reports vendor bills, and check requests.
Assist with special projects such as paper and electronic file maintenance, contact lists, and mailings. Provide overflow support as needed. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with different personalities are needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Manage multiple projects concurrently. Strong organizational skills are needed. Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); comfort with technology and ability to learn new software and applications are needed.
