Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of relevant experience for its general liability and professional liability practice teams. The ideal candidate must be admitted to Massachusetts, with additional admissions considered a plus. Experience in insurance defense, particularly in the areas of general litigation, professional liability, and employment practices, is preferred. Candidates with cybersecurity or data privacy experience will be viewed favorably.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters, specifically in general liability and professional liability cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff.
• Participate in court hearings and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Stay updated on legal developments in relevant practice areas.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
• 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Additional admissions are a plus.
• Experience in insurance defense, preferably in general litigation, professional liability, and employment practices.
• Cybersecurity or data privacy experience is a plus.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
