Job Overview:
A rapidly growing plaintiff-side employment law firm based in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated and dynamic Associate Attorney to join its Wage & Hour Class Action department. This position provides a unique opportunity to represent workers in classwide employment disputes involving unpaid wages, meal and rest break violations, and unreimbursed expenses. Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Represent employees in wage and hour class action and PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) litigation

• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement agreements

• Take and defend depositions

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Participate in case management and strategy development

• Advocate for clients in court, mediation, and negotiation settings

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex litigation

• Manage cases with increasing independence under supervision

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience practicing employment law, with a specific focus on wage and hour class actions and/or PAGA claims

• Ability to manage litigation tasks independently and meet court deadlines

• Willingness to work in-person at the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
