A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a highly qualified Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building the existing practice, engaging in significant client contact, and progressing into a leadership role in the long term. Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel and support in estate planning matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on tax-related issues.
• Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and estate plans.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored tax strategies.
• Represent clients in estate planning meetings, negotiations, and court proceedings.
• Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate or higher degree in Law.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in estate planning.
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
