Duties

• Collaborate on political law matters, including corporate and non-profit representations.
• Research laws related to ballot access, voter registration, and vote-by-mail.
• Review campaign materials for legal compliance.
• Draft and respond to administrative complaints and represent clients in ethics investigations.
• Advise on campaign finance, lobbying, and ethics law.
• Negotiate contracts and advise on compliance issues.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in political law, regulatory, or litigation preferred.
• Experience in political, campaign, or government affairs is a plus.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia or eligible to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
