Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a Junior Global Finance Leveraged Lending Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate should have experience executing complex finance transactions and credit arrangements. Asset-based lending experience is considered advantageous. Strong academic credentials and prior law firm experience are mandatory for this role.

Duties:

• Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing global finance transactions, remarkably leveraged lending deals.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance, lending regulations, and relevant case law.
• Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements, security, and ancillary transactional documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in managing client relationships and providing legal advice.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and leveraged lending and finance law best practices.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• Experience practicing law, preferably in finance or banking law.
• Demonstrated experience in executing complex finance transactions and credit arrangements.
• Familiarity with asset-based lending is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of finance law, lending regulations, and relevant legal frameworks.
