Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research to evaluate potential civil rights cases.

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings.

• Work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, including incarcerated individuals.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop effective case strategies.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law.

• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil rights, constitutional law, or trial advocacy.

• Strong legal research and writing skills, particularly in complex motions and case law analysis.

• Experience conducting depositions, appearing in court, and handling appeals.

• Commitment to civil rights advocacy and legal precedent development.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to CA State Bar and in good standing.
