A reputable law firm located in Stuart, FL, seeks a diligent and meticulous Associate Attorney to support its growing practice. The chosen candidate will handle a variety of legal issues, primarily focused on family law, estate planning, and probate, as well as handling cases involving personal injury, mass tort, criminal defense, and general civil matters. Duties:
Conduct detailed legal research and analysis for case preparation and strategic planning.
Draft and revise a variety of legal documents including contracts, pleadings, briefs, motions, and other related documents.
Represent and advocate for clients in court appearances, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
Work alongside senior attorneys on complex legal matters involving family law, estate planning, probate, personal injury claims, civil litigation, mass tort actions, and criminal defense.
Monitor and interpret evolving legislation, judicial decisions, and regulatory updates to ensure accurate case strategy.
Efficiently manage and maintain organized client records, correspondence, and case documentation.
Provide straightforward and comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding their rights and available legal avenues.
Requirements:
Active admission and good standing with the Florida State Bar.
Demonstrated legal experience, preferably including familiarity with family law, probate, estate planning, personal injury, civil, mass tort litigation, or criminal law.
Proficiency in legal research platforms (such as Westlaw), familiarity with Clio case management software, and adeptness in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
Analytical thinking skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to independently handle multiple projects while effectively collaborating within the broader legal team.
High ethical standards and unwavering commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Education:
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law institution.
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Florida.
