Duties

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties.
• Handle matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, modifications, and other family law issues.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• 1-5+ years of family law experience preferred.
• Skilled in establishing rapport and trust with clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
